Le Couronnement de la Vierge entourée d'étoiles

Dans une église où je vais célébrer l’Eucharistie une fois par mois, dans la chapelle qui est consacrée à la Vierge, nous pouvons la voir en hauteur, enveloppée dans un manteau d’étoiles. C’est une très jolie représentation: la femme la plus comblée de grâces au milieu d’un joli firmament. Quelle merveille contemplent nos yeux !... Quelle tendre présence nous ressentons dans le cœur !... Quel plaisir d’être à son côté !

Marie, la gloire par la croix

Aujourd’hui nous sommes invités par le Roi du ciel, celui qui siège sur le trône dont parle l’Apocalypse. Nous sommes invités, mais nous ne sommes pas les seuls. Il y a une multitude d’invités de toutes nations, peuples, races et langues, une multitude d’anges et d’archanges, la foule de tous les croyants et la foule de tous les martyrs qui portent la croix sur laquelle ils ont donné leur vie.

Có Hòm bia, dân không phải lo sợ gì: Họ có thể vượt qua sông mà chân vẫn ráo khô (Gs 3,14-17), họ có thể hạ được thành của địch mà không hao tổn sức lực (Gs 6,14). Lúc dừng chân, Hòm bia được đặt trong một cái lều, gọi là Lều Hội ngộ.

The Assumption: a new celebration of Easter

In the middle of summer, the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a new celebration of Easter. A woman, our sister, one of us, is admitted to share fully in the glory of the risen Christ. The woman “clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars” (Re 12:1) shines as a brilliant light. She is dressed with the light of God, with a garment of glory. The love of the Father for his eternal Son, that is the very glory of the Triune God, dwells in Mary’s soul and marvellously clothes her body.
