The feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on October 7 colours either autumn or spring depending in which hemisphere we live.

A feast which animates this season of transition towards Advent and Christmas…

In Lourdes, this feast is lived in the middle of the most popular pilgrimage of the year.
Nearly 50 000 pilgrims and thousands of sick people are expected.

It is the occasion for us in Teams, to live the Rosary as a “complete school of prayer”, providing a basis for our behaviour as Christians in the world..
This Christian behaviour is illuminated and motivated by charity and compassion.

Christian life is truly a pilgrimage towards God. The Gospel of Jesus Christ lights the way from end to end.

The Rosary allows us to anchor our life to the whole life of Jesus at the centre of human history.

On the road to Damascus, Paul lived the great rendez-vous of his life: the meeting with the Risen Christ who lives in the midst of His Church: “Why do you persecute me?”

Each of us is called, like Paul, to meet the Risen Christ on his or her way and to discover compassion and charity in order to make this meeting real for all our brothers and sisters throughout the world.

May Our Lady of the Rosary give us joy within the Church to live according to this school of prayer and walk on the road of compassion and charity towards the Kingdom of God!
