The Rosary is a school of prayer and of love. Yes, we learn to “love one another as Jesus loves us”. Often we say or believe that we do not know how to love.

So, let us contemplate the Gospel and look at how Jesus prays, how he goes to meet others, especially children, the sick, the excluded of the society of his time.

The liturgical time of the Church helps us to become more and more members of the Rosary teams.

The time of Christmas is magnificent! Here is the rhythm of the feasts which I take in all their amplitude during those 40 days of Mary’s purification:

Christmas, Holy Family, Mary Mother of God, Epiphany, Baptism of Christ, Feast of Cana, Choice of the Apostles, Candlemas…

All that light up to the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, received by the aged Simeon and Anne who discover in the Child God the youth of the world made for God and the hope of Israel and of Nations, meaning the whole of humanity.

During this month of February, we enter Lent on Ash Wednesday for another period of 40 days before Holy Week. Therefore, we can each meditate as well as in our teams the two poles of our faith celebrated in the liturgical year: Christmas and Easter, the Incarnation and the Salvation brought by the Passion and the Resurrection of the Saviour of the World, Jesus, the unique mediator between God and mankind, the son of Mary, Word made flesh.

Let us hitch our life to this Gospel to become each, and together the bearers and witnesses of God’s Love wherever we live.
